A man was thrashed to death by a mob on charges of trying to sabotage the Guru Granth Sahib in the Golden Temple. After this incident, everyone is shocked that how can anyone do such a thing. CM Charanjit Singh Channi has ordered an inquiry into the incident. After this incident, the political and religious atmosphere in the electoral state of Punjab has heated up.
